Sedgwick Claims Administration Providers Inc. has finalized a $1.6 million settlement to resolve a category motion lawsuit alleging that it misclassified workers as exempt from entitlement to additional time compensation.
The US District Courtroom for the Western District of Tennessee granted last approval of the settlement, together with class counsel’s request for $400,000 in attorneys’ charges and prices, on Thursday.
Choose Samuel H. Mays Jr. accepted two separate settlement lessons, one for Illinois and one for Ohio. Each lessons comprise individuals who held a place referred to as Incapacity Consultant Senior.
