BLYTHEWOOD – Final Wednesday, Blythewood Excessive Faculty acknowledged six members of the Class of 2023 who dedicated to persevering with their athletic careers on the collegiate stage. 

Xavier Cuevas, son of Henry and Elizabeth Cuevas, introduced his determination to proceed his baseball profession at Delaware State College in Dover, Delaware.  Cuevas, a utility participant for head coach Dolan Crolley, has performed within the infield, outfield, and pitched for the Bengals.  Cuevas plans to pitch for the Hornets in faculty.  Cuevas has earned numerous baseball honors, together with being named to quite a few All-Match Groups over the summer season.

Lauren Hardy, daughter of Barry and Keba Hardy, will proceed her softball profession at Indiana College in Bloomington, Indiana.  Hardy is a pitcher and utility participant for head coach Jordan Atkinson at Blythewood.  Hardy was named the Area 4 Participant of the Yr in 2022 and has twice been named an All-Area and All-State choice.

Ashlee Hoile, daughter of Brian and MaryPaul Hoile, will proceed her softball profession on the College of South Carolina at Union in Union, South Carolina.  Hoile is an outfielder and catcher for head coach Jordan Atkinson at Blythewood.  Hoile will earn her fourth varsity letter as a senior for the Bengals. 

John Rollings, son of Mark and Kristen Rollings, will proceed his baseball profession at Newberry Faculty in Newberry, South Carolina.  Rollings, an infielder and pitcher for head coach Dolan Crolley, helped lead the Bengals to a area championship in 2022.  Rollings earned All-Area and All-State honors as a junior and was chosen to play within the Palmetto Video games summer season showcase.

I’yanna Velez, daughter of  Julio and Tiffany Velez, introduced her plans to proceed softball profession at Emory & Henry Faculty in Emory, Virginia.  Velez is a shortstop for head coach Jordan Atkinson at Blythewood.  Velez earned the crew’s Golden Glove Award and was an All-Area choice in 2022.

Camden Watts, son of Susie Coleman and John Coleman, will proceed his baseball profession at Anderson College in Anderson, South Carolina.  Watts is a pitcher and nook infielder for head coach Dolan Crolley at Blythewood.  Watts is an honor roll scholar and was chosen to play within the Palmetto Video games summer season showcase.
